Travelling to Preston by Train | Ormskirk to Preston Route

With bright sunshine and clear skies on a Saturday, we decided it was the perfect day for a trip to Preston. The journey began with a short ride on Merseyrail to Ormskirk. Before changing onto a Northern service for the scenic run to Preston via Burscough Junction, Rufford and Croston. After a pleasant 30-minute journey through the Lancashire countryside, we arrived in Preston ready to explore the city for the day.
