TfW Day Trip To Prestatyn

It was another wet and windy day as we made our way to Llandudno station. Our destination for the day was Prestatyn, just a 25-minute journey along the coast. This outing had no particular purpose other than the sheer enjoyment of riding the train and taking in the scenery.
Part of the journey hugs the coastline, offering stunning views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. Thankfully, the rain held off, allowing us to fully appreciate the scenic beauty along the way. It was a simple yet rewarding day out, reminding us of the joys of travel, even in unpredictable weather.
Taking The 12 To Pensarn

We decided to explore the area by bus and found ourselves in Pensarn. Upon arrival, it felt as though the promised 50 mph winds were in full force. Undeterred, we ventured onto the beach, embracing the wild weather for a brisk and invigorating walk along the shore.
Eventually, the wind drove us indoors, where we warmed up with a hot drink and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Feeling refreshed, we returned to the beach for a few more photos, capturing the dramatic skies and windswept scenery before making our way to the bus stop. As we boarded the bus back to Llandudno, we felt a sense of accomplishment for braving the elements and enjoying a truly memorable seaside adventure.
TfW to Betws-y-Coed

While Mrs. Jomo was off doing her thing, I decided to head out on a quick adventure. I made my way to Llandudno Station to catch a train to Betws-y-Coed. No particular reason—just the simple pleasure of riding the train, exploring the railway museum, and enjoying a coffee at one of the local spots. Thankfully, the rain held off, leaving me with some stunning scenic views to enjoy along the way.
