Heading To Preston

With no plans for the day, I decided to head to Preston—no particular reason, just a chance to ride a train and watch more trains while enjoying a pie and a drink. However, Merseyrail derailed those plans when a trespasser caused delays on the Northern Line. Thankfully, Maghull now has a coffee shop, so the day wasn’t a total loss.

Conwy to Penmaenmawr

After spending a few hours exploring Conwy – enjoying coffee, food, and a bit of shopping—it was time to head home. While we had taken the bus to Conwy, we decided to return to Penmaenmawr by train. The journey is just one stop and lasts only six minutes, but it offers great views of the coastline along the way.

Afterward, we hopped on the number 5 bus to Bangor, enjoying the scenic hour-and-15-minute ride along the A55 and through charming local towns and lanes. Now just need to edit the video together!

Stirling to Perth

After a bit of research, we opted for a journey on one of ScotRail’s HST trains from Stirling to Perth. It turned out to be a quick yet enjoyable trip, offering stunning views of the countryside along the way.
