From Penrith to Keswick: A Scenic Journey Through the Northern Lakes

We headed up to Penrith for a few days of exploring and, on our second day, decided it was time to venture into the Lake District. Leaving the car behind at the hotel, we made our way to the bus station and hopped aboard the X5 for the 45-minute journey to Keswick.

Thankfully, the weather was on our side. Although the skies looked threatening at times, the rain stayed away and allowed us to enjoy the ride through some of the stunning scenery of the northern Lakes. Rolling hills, picturesque villages and beautiful countryside made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination itself.
